Hi Everyone!
I am new to the forum and excited to join the community. I reside in Maryland and have been an avid sports bettor for the last 7 or 8 years through college and my MBA program and have had some success. I recently started taking it more seriously and found this forum and it has been extremely helpful through the first few weeks of the football season.
On a personal note, I played college baseball and grew up as a three sport athlete. My love for sports comes from my parents who were both college athletes. I started betting during my undergrad years with the campus bookie / teammate and had a lot of success to pay for weekend beer money! I just finished my MBA in Finance in May and now am an assistant portfolio manager for an asset management firm. I enjoy the markets and investments almost as much as I do sports. If I had my way, I would be investing/betting on sports as a full time gig, who knows one day I may get there!
Thanks for reading this and I look forward to engaging with everyone and continuing to improve my craft.
